Sandra Christian on Living For Today

Sandra Christian was incarcerated off and on from 2011 to 2019 as a result of her addiction. In 2018, one of her sons died while she was in jail. While at Lakin Correctional Facility in Mason County, West Virginia, Christian participated in the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) program.

“I think the RSAT program is a good program, if you want recovery, and I wanted it,” Christian said.

Christian has another son and plans to stay sober and live each day for him while also continuing to work on herself.
